The Hotel Lanjuinais is deeply committed to more responsible tourism, respectful of the environment and local dynamics. We are committed to limiting our ecological impact while supporting local stakeholders, making sustainable choices at every stage of your stay. This strong commitment has enabled us to obtain the Clef Verte label, a benchmark in sustainable tourism, which rewards our actions in favour of a hotel industry that is more respectful of the planet and its resources.

The Hotel Lanjuinais is a warm place where people like to spend a few nights. But it's also a place where we make it a point of honour to fulfil our mission: to become an increasingly sustainable establishment.

Local products at the heart of your stay

 

Every aspect of your experience is designed to favour short circuits and quality products.

From breakfast to your bathroom, we select local partners: bread from Boulangerie des Halles or Grand-Père Jules, homemade cakes, honey from Ruchers du Chevré, seasonal flowers from Aquarelle florist and artisan chocolates from Coupel Chocolaterie or Yvan Chevalier. By working with these artisans, we're supporting the local economy and giving you a real taste of the region.

A greener stay

Pampering yourself is great, but taking care of the planet is even better!
Our establishment has adopted an eco-responsible approach, using 30% organic and eco-labelled products, optimising water and energy consumption and managing linen in a sustainable way.

We work with Breizh-Papiers for recycling, Rennes Métropole for bio-waste recovery and TooGoodToGo to combat food waste. We also give a second life to unclaimed clothes, mattresses and furniture by redistributing them via Les Hôtels Solidaires.

The entire team is aware of the challenges of sustainable tourism and is trained in eco-actions that are integrated into daily routines. Our reception team will be happy to share their best addresses with you: local shops, independent designers, ecotourism circuits. All our suppliers and partners are rigorously selected on the basis of their sustainable commitments.

  • We offer Ty Bocal de Loscouet sur Meu (22230) jars and vegetarian options.
  • Most of the drinks on the menu are local and organic.
  • To protect the environment and above all offer you good air quality, most of the products used for cleaning the hotel are eco-labelled.
  • Our establishment is completely non-smoking.

The Lanjuinais hotel has selected a range of Damana hospitality products in recyclable eco-pumps.

What can I do to limit my carbon footprint when staying at the Lanjuinais hotel?

  • Let's sort our waste together: Leave your glass bottles aside, our team will recycle them when we clean your room.
  • We love water, so let's save it: Remember to limit the length of your shower and not to leave the water running when soaping up or brushing your teeth... Simple reflexes that make all the difference.
  • Not too hot, not too cold: Before setting off to explore Rennes, remember to turn off the heating (or close the windows) to avoid wasting energy.
  • Rennes in eco-friendly mode: Bus, subway, bike... The city is full of options for getting around in a different way. Need a good plan? Ask us, we'll guide you!
